Alliance of Special Educators and Related Services Personnel


Northeast Georgia RESA Shared Services, an alliance of special educators and related services personnel, is committed to the design of programs and services that provide full educational opportunity to students with disabilities. RESA maintains a network of specialized professionals that functions in conjunction with the continuum of services available in the local school systems. These professionals include:

  • Audiologists
  • Educational Interpreters
  • Occupational Therapists
  • Orientation and Mobility Specialist
  • Physical Therapists
  • Speech/Language Pathologist for the Deaf/Hard of Hearing
  • Teachers of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing
  • Teachers of the Visually Impaired

The Northeast Georgia RESA Shared services program is directed and funded by its member school systems.
