Presenter:Super Powers? Seriously? Yes indeed, and victim advocates
have them, for sure. Granted, you don’t have a supersonic propulsion pack that
zooms you into the stratosphere and back, nor can you shift into Supersize to
impress a prosecutor or defense attorney. You can’t fly without a business
transaction with a commercial air carrier (or know a licensed pilot,) but you
are far more capable of marvelous feats and heroic acts than you realize. For
some of the victims you’ve served, you have already outdone yourself. This
one’s for you.
Every human being comes into this world with a unique,
individual set of innate qualities that help us stand out, stand up, and stand
for something, often in superlative ways. Deep within you lays a Mother Lode of
untapped potential, waiting to be found and freed. Once discovered, your Super
Powers help you banish pesky hang-ups that hold you back and obliterate
everyday annoyances that suck your energy and take the spice out of life and
work.
Uncover the bedrock of what makes you supremely effective.
Stake a claim on your signature strengths to take full advantage of the natural
assets you don’t even know you have. Your Super Powers are what make you
exclusively who you are and what you can be. It’s time you dug down deep and
discovered them. You’ll also gain insight about managing the two distinct sides
of your inner child.
This session offers encouragement to keep your inner spark
so you can avoid burn out and compassion fatigue. Oh, and be prepared to have a
lot of fun along the way.
This session is based on the new book Leslie Charles is
writing. It’s a wise, refreshing approach to self-help/personal development.
And it is very witty.
