Staff Analysis of the Legislation
HB 950 revises O.C.G.A. ยง 15-11-211 provides that information regarding the options a relative has to participate in the care and placement of an alleged dependent child be given notice, and such notice contain information for a regional Department of Family and Child Services (DFCS) case worker qualified to assist the relative caregiver. The notice shall also include information describing financial assistance available to the caregiver.
