SUMMARY: LC 33 4946 Modifies eligibility for participation in the Zell Miller Scholar program.
REQUIREMENTS: Removes current requirements that a student must have a grade point average of 3.7 and a score of 1200 or greater on the SAT or ACT score of 26 in order to qualify for the program. New language states that a student must be in the top 3% of his/her graduating class in order to qualify for the program.
EFFECTIVE DATE: Upon approval by the General Assembly and Governor.
