SUMMARY:  LC 28 6927

This is the "Fiscal Accountability Act."  It prohibits counties, cities, school districts, or other local authorities, state authorities, agencies, boards, bureaus, commissions, departments, offices, public corporations, or other entities of state government from accepting federal funds in any form or for any purpose including loans and grants unless the acceptance of those funds has been expressly and specifically approved by an Act of the General Assembly.
