Staff Analysis of the Legislation

SUMMARY:  LC 33 5430  Changes certain provisions of the lottery program:

  • requires annual lottery proceeds to be provided the HOPE program to equal at least 35 percent
  • quarterly reports shall be provided to the legislative oversight committee which shall meet quarterly to review the operations of the Georgia Lottery Corporation

EFFECTIVE DATE: Upon approval of the General Assembly and signature of the Governor.
