SUMMARY:

This bill would amend QBE to provide that all public elementary and secondary schools be closed on November 11 to honor Veterans Day.

NOTE:

If students are out of school on Veterans Day, the activities that teachers have used to call attention to our veterans and to honor their service could be lost, and it could become just another day out of school to the students.
