SUMMARY:

            This bill would establish priorities for funding all additional projects beyond the original budget.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Priorities would be set for all additional funds:
• • Student enrollment increases;
  • The general reserve to ensure a fund balance equal to or greater than 8%; of the previous year’s net revenue; and then
  • Reduction of the state debt or tax relief, or both.
• To fund without using these listed priorities, there would have to be a join resolution by both houses with a 3/5 majority vote in each house by a roll call vote.
