SUMMARY:

            This bill would add a new Code section to Part 1 of Article 2 of Chapter 5 of Title 48 of the O.C.G.A. relating to ad valorem tax exemption of property, specifically homestead exemptions.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Upon sale of property, the tax official shall mail to the new owner of real estate all relevant homestead exemptions forms.
