SUMMARY:

            This bill would extend the provisions of Code section 47-3-95 to allow up to 10 years of credit for teaching in a private institution anywhere in the U.S. after the teacher has completed at least 5 consecutive years of membership service in Georgia

NOTE:

            If this bill becomes law, it stretches TRS even further than the "Baby Boomers" and the economic downturn already has.
