SUMMARY:

This bill would amend Part 1 of Article 2 of Chapter 5 of Title 48 of O.C.G.A. to provide, subject to a referendum, that all tangible personal property making up the inventory of a business be exempt from state ad valorem taxes. The legislation would require a referendum to take effect.
