SUMMARY:

            This bill would amend Article 27 of Chapter 2 of Title 20 of the O.C.G.A. to add “that a mental state of knowledge, intention, or recklessness” be added as an element of an offense regarding disruption of school or a bus ride

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • The bill would limit disruption to an act that is committed knowingly, intentionally or recklessly.
  • It would make the offense a misdemeanor and remove “of a high and aggravated nature.”
