SUMMARY:

            This resolution calls for a study committee to consider whether it is “prudent” to continue the “mandatory nature” of RESA’s and the current required memberships, as well as the continued state funding of RESA’s.  The committee would meet and make any appropriate recommendations by December 31, 2009. It is identical to HR 642 for the House Study Committee.
