SUMMARY: This bill would amend Article 19 of Chapter 2 of Title 20 of the O.C.G.A. to provide that “textbook” include computer hardware, software and technical equipment necessary to support such material. It also would allow the SBOE the authority to allow local superintendents to choose between textbooks and digital content.
