Staff Analysis of the Legislation

SUMMARY:  This bill would amend Chapter 2 of Title 20 of the O.C.G.A., QBE, to eliminate CRCT tests in grades 1 and 2.  They would remain in effect in grades 3-8, as well as a curriculum based exam in 11th grade for graduation purposes.
