SUMMARY:  This bill would amend Code Section 20-2-55 of the O.C.G.A. to prevent payment of per diem during a period when accreditation is suspended, on probation, or revoked.  It would apply only to the LBOE members who are cited in an accreditation report as having violated policies or standards or who has caused such a violation.  An appeal to the SBOE is allowed within 10 days of being notified of loss of per diem.  If found he/she has not violated policies or standards, the LBOE would return the salary or per diem to the member.
