HB 98 updates references in the Code to House and Senate committees, keeping the names consistent with those currently in the House and Senate Rules. (Example: changing references to the �House Committee on Industry� to �House Energy, Utilities, and Telecommunications Committee�) 

This bill received a Do Pass recommendation from the Rules Committee and comes to the House Floor under the Modified Structured Rule.

Senate Changes:

The Senate added a new Part 1 to the original house bill. This part transfers appointment powers currently resting with the Senate Committee on Assignments over to the Lieutenant Governor.
