SB 49 provides that the Division of Rehabilitation Services of the Department of Labor will oversee services provided to the deaf-blind by a knowledgeable organization. This transition is subject to appropriation by the General Assembly.

This bill addresses the sub par rehab services for deaf-blind persons under the Department of Labor by allowing another entity to manage the services.
