Eliminates provisions for �Terminal Leave� in the state retirement code that have been ruled inconsistent with federal law.

 

WHAT IS THE DRIVING FORCE BEHIND THIS LEGISLATION?

Eliminating provisions that have not been enforced due to conflict with federal regulations.

 

THIS LEGISLATION:

  • Reduces the Size of Government

Yes, minimal impact

  • Reduces the Tax Burden on our Citizens

No current impact, but ff federal law were to change to allow this, passage of HB 213 would reduce the overall burden on taxpayers.
