This bill adds language to statutes dealing with health insurance plans for teachers and other school personnel in elementary and secondary education. The new language allows teachers and employees of charter schools to be considered employees for purposes of participating in the health insurance plans for teachers and other school personnel.

This bill received a Do Pass recommendation from the Education Committee and came to the House Floor under the Modified Structured Rule.

The Senate receded from it's changes and final version consisted of the House's original language.
