HR 1081 authorizes a Legislative Service Award program where each member of the House is allowed to issue one Legislative Service Award per year to an individual based on outstanding contributions to the public good. The award will consist of a certificate and pin which may bear the House Seal upon approval of the Speaker. The House will maintain a supply of these items and may cover the costs through financial or in-kind donations or funds appropriated to the House.

This committee substitute comes to the Floor under the Open Rule.
