HB 1055 updates various parts of Title 43 dealing with professions and licenses. Section 1 allows a division director’s designees to sign time-sensitive documents when the director is unavailable. Section 2 updates the name of the Council for Interior Design Accreditation. Section 3 changes “full-time” to “an” regarding auction inspectors to allow more flexibility. Section 4 removes “Atlanta” as the location of an office now relocated to Macon. Sections 5 and 6 strike language dealing with a massage therapy license reciprocity option which is not available, as no other states have reciprocity with Georgia. Sections 7 and 8 modifies the Physical Therapy Board’s options in working with applicants who failed their examination. Section 9 changes veterinarians’ license late renewal periods to conform to current licensing practices.

This committee substitute comes to the Floor under the Modified Structured Rule.
