Staff Analysis of the Legislation

This bill directs the Utah Department of Agriculture and Food to conduct a study of all private agricultural land in the state and to classify the land in terms of its market value and the commodity the land is devoted to raising. The Department of Agriculture and Food must complete and submit the study to the Natural Resources, Agriculture, and Environment Interim Committee by May 31, 2020. |
