Staff Analysis of the Legislation
This bill authorizes the Homeless Coordinating Committee to use money from the Homeless to Housing Reform Restricted Account in order to provide medical respite care for individuals who are homeless. The bill also expands the definition of a homeless shelter to include an emergency shelter and a medical respite facility.
