This legislation allows retired law enforcement to have the renewal fee waived for drivers' licenses so long as he or she was a certified peace officer at the time of retirement and is receiving benefits from the Employees' Retirement System of Georgia, the Peace Officers' Annuity and Benefit Fund, the Sheriffs' Retirement Fund, or a county or city retirement system.
