Staff Analysis of the Legislation

This legislation prohibits counties from asking or requiring employees and applicants to provide their user name or password to personal social media accounts, email accounts or texting accounts.  Counties could only request an employee to disclose social media activity in connection with investigations of employee misconduct or illegal activity.
