Staff Analysis of the Legislation
The House version of this bill provided yet another sales tax exemption for the aquarium, this time from July 1, 2015 until January 1, 2017, for renovation or expansion of the facility. The current senate substitute (LC 34 4895S) deletes this sales tax exemption and replaces it with multiple, expansive changes to the state income tax code.
