This bill reinstates the "back to school" sales tax holiday and the energy efficient sales tax holiday for 2012. Although this bill reduces the maxium per purchase sales price to receive the exemption from $1500 to $1000 for the "back to school" holiday, the per purchase maximum sales price for the energy efficient holiday remains at $1500.
