Staff Analysis of the Legislation
This bill applies only to consolidated governments and specifies that if a consolidated government has conducted a vote to increase LOST from 1% to 2%, then, as of July 1, 2014, the amount over the initial 1% shall not apply to rooms subject to the hotel motel tax.
