Staff Analysis of the Legislation
The current House substitute to this proposed constitutional amendment (LC 33 6039S) would allow  the method for distribution of ESPLOST proceeds to be by agreement of the county and independent school systems. It eliminates the ability of the General Assembly to provide for the distribution by local Act. It provides the authority for HB 369.
