SUMMARY: LC 33 5416  LC 21 2409S

Defines disciplinary panel or tribunal as a tribunal or panel of school officials consisting of not fewer than three nor more than five persons selected from among local school administrators, social workers, psychologists, and district level support staff.

Removes hearing officer as an approved official for administering student disciplinary hearings.

EFFECTIVE DATE: Upon approval of the General Assembly and signature of the Governor.
