SUMMARY:  This bill would amend Article 4 of Chapter 18 of Title 50 of the O.C.G.A. to provide for relief and remedies in case of harassing requests for public records.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Requests for public records would be denied if fees for previous provided records had not yet been paid.
• When repeated requests by number and nature are apparently intended to harass, the agency could fine a petition in superior court for relief
