Staff Analysis of the Legislation

SUMMARY:  This bill would amend Part 15 of Article 6 of Chapter 2 of the O.C.G.A., beginning in 2010-2011, to require the GSFC to provide career counseling and advisement for students in grades 6-12.  It would also require a web based resource in grades 8-12 to develop a graduation plan that would detail courses required for graduation and to transition to postsecondary education and the work force.
