SUMMARY:

This bill would amend Article 10A of Chapter 5 of Title 48 of the O.C.G.A. to provide that no ad valorem tax could be charged on any heavy duty equipment motor vehicle except during the year it is purchased.

NOTE:

This bill represents one of many bills introduced in this session that would decrease revenues in a period of extreme fiscal crisis.
