SUMMARY:

            This bill would amend Code Section 48-8-3 of the O.C.G.A. to remove the exemption of sales tax on food and beverages bought for off-premises consumption.

NOTE:

            This bill could substantially off-set a part of the enormous revenue deficit at the state level.
