SUMMARY:  This bill would amend Chapter 5 of Title 48 of the O.C.G.A. to provide for changes in notification of ad valorem taxpayers.  Its provisions are similar to SB 346 and HB 1139.  It also specified that the notice include a millage rate that would result in the taxpayer paying the same amount of tax as in the previous year and allows arbitration to avoid an appeal to superior court.
