SUMMARY:  This bill would amend Chapter 56 of Title 48 of the O.C.G.A. to change the definitions to include “current use value,” which would apply to conservation use property and apply to the amount a knowledgeable buyer would pay for the property with the intention of keeping it in conservation land use. 

NOTE: That means that the buyer would not have to re-apply for conservation land use on the property, even if regulations had changed since the property was originally granted conservation status.
