This bill creates a three-year trip reduction pilot program with a one-time $1.2 million appropriation from the general fund to the Division of Environmental Quality. Under the bill, the Division of Air Quality may use the funds to create alternative transportation and work days, designating the geographic areas subject to such days, funding the days, and paying the administrative costs.
