| A graduate of the 2018 class of Republican Leadership for Georgia, Bethany received a BA in English Literature from the University of North Carolina and an MA in English from the University of Central Arkansas. Before becoming active in politics, she taught high school in both Arkansas and Marietta, GA.
Currently, Bethany owns Absolute Campaign Strategies, LLC, a political consulting and management company specializing in local elections. She has served as a legislative aide to State Representative Heath Clark since 2018 and managed his successful re-election campaigns in 2018 and 2020.
Since 2012, Bethany has served in Georgia Republican Party leadership at the county, district, and state levels. She serves as the immediate past chair of the 8th Congressional District Republican Party and was a member of the Georgia Republican Party Task Force on Election Law Reform and the GAGOP Permanent Rules Committee.
She also serves as Acolyte Coordinator and a member of the scholarship committee at Perry United Methodist Church where her family is active. Bethany has been married to her husband, Mike, an Air Force Colonel for 26 years and has two school age boys, Braden and Preston who attend Houston County Public Schools. |
