| A proud member of the Brunswick High School Class of 1971, he earned his BBA (Bachelor's of Business Administration) in Banking and Finance from the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia. Mike also received additional degrees from the UGA School of Banking and The Stonier Graduate School of Banking at the University of Delaware.
A founding director and senior officer of the First Bank of Brunswick, in 1996 he was named CEO. The bank was then acquired by Ameris Bancorp in 2001, where he now serves as the President of the Southeast Georgia Coastal Market, which covers Glynn, Camden, Liberty, and Ware Counties.
Mike Hodges is not only community-focused, he is family-focused.
Married 38 years to his wife Dana, they have two grown sons and are very excited about the arrival of their first grandchild this summer. |
