I was raised in Hatton, North Dakota, where my dad has called home his entire life. Both of my parents are teachers, and my love of learning came from them. We had a small house out in the country, and my sister, brother and I would play for hours each day in the yard and woods. In high school I was involved in many extra-curricular activities, which continued while I attended NDSU. I love to be involved, and pursue many interests. I met my now-husband in my last year of college, and after managing long distance for two years, we now live happily in Downtown Fargo.
I attended NDSU and graduated with my Master's Degree in Architecture in 2017. I moved to Minneapolis for two years to work for a firm that focused on affordable multi-family housing. I moved back to Fargo in 2019 and worked remotely for the same firm for four more years. In 2020 I co-founded a board game publishing company, Pops & Bejou Games. Also around that time, I joined the Downtown Neighborhood Association, where I became the Chair in 2022. This year I joined ICON Architectural Group, and am now focusing on educational facilities. |
