My name is Desiree Morton. I am a former teacher, a mother, and a grandmother. I am a wife to a brave, former 82nd Airborne Army serviceman, and I am a passionate, conservative, common sense, North Dakotan.
I was born and raised right here in south Fargo. I graduated from Fargo South High, and then from North Dakota State University, with a degree in education.
After college, I immediately married my high school sweetheart. We celebrated 43 years of marriage this past May.
After my husband's military service ended in 1982, we moved back to Fargo. I substitute taught in the Fargo Public Schools for several years before deciding to stay at home and raise as well as homeschool our five wonderful children. |
