| Jack grew up the youngest of 10 children, learning from a young age the importance of hard work and family.
He attended both Kent State University and the University of Akron part-time, taking over his family's small business while still in school. At just age 20, he moved the company from a motel room in Boston Heights to an old freight terminal in Akron in 1999. By the age of 30, Jack had grown the company from five employees to over fifty, with three different operating divisions serving 16 states and two provinces in Canada.
Jack has been a resident in the district for three decades. He is proud to have raised his three children here, all of whom attended Manchester Local Schools from K through 12.
Jack is passionate about our students. He currently serves as Chairman of Manchester Education Foundation, a 501(c)3 that has given tens of thousands of dollars to students and teachers in the Manchester School District and was on the board of Portage Lakes Career Center School having served as Board Vice President in 2016 and President in 2017.
After having sold one of the divisions of his company in 2020, Jack chose to give back to his community by running for and serving as an At Large City Councilman in New Franklin. As a member of the New Franklin Council, he has re-shaped its involvement in our local government by fighting for New Franklin to adopt and follow an annual budget which, prior to Jack's arrival, was not done.
Now Jack is ready to fight for the 32nd District in Columbus the same way he has fought for his local community. He will bring much-needed business sense to our state government. Jack's experience as a business owner, council member, and father makes him ready on day one to fight for Ohio and our children's future. |
