I'm a lifelong resident of Six Mile, graduate of Daniel High School, Southern Wesleyan University, and Clemson University. I care about our community and I'm optimistic for our future. I've worked in private sector business my entire life and run a small business while also serving voluntarily on several policy committees and boards, giving me a unique understanding of the opportunities ahead. I'm a lifelong Republican and former county chairman. I served on the Pickens County Planning Commission, the Greenville/Pickens Area Transit Study Committee, the Pickens County School Board for eight years, the S.C Education Oversight Committee for two years, and the State Board of Education for four years. I'm familiar with education, transportation, development standards, budgets, and funding sources. I also volunteered as reserve deputy sheriff for 10 years and understand what our first responders face each day. We're blessed to be a part of Alive Wesleyan Church and, if you do not have a church home, we invite you to join us there. |
