A proud Spartanburg native, Scott is a diligent husband, father, businessman, and community leader. After earning an economics degree from Hampton-Sydney College, Scott and his wife, Laura, settled in Spartanburg to raise their three children. They are members of the Episcopal Church of the Advent. In his free time, you can find Scott spending quality time with his family, volunteering for the Boy Scouts, or outdoors riding his mountain bike, hunting, and fishing.
Scott is a successful and well-respected local businessman who is passionate about creating real, positive change in the Spartanburg area. He is a Founder and Principal of RePower South, a recycling company with facilities across the Southeast. Scott is also the owner of 13 Take 5 Oil Change franchises in Georgia, North Carolina, and Tennessee. Additionally, Scott is a founder of Core Care Medical, LLC.
Scott has a long history of public service. Currently, Scott is the Treasurer for Apella Health, the management company for Spartanburg Regional Hospital System. And he previously served as Chairman of the Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System Foundation Board of Trustees. |
