| Rep. Frances Cavenaugh is serving her second term in the Arkansas House. She represents District 60 which includes portions of Lawrence, Randolph, Sharp, and Greene counties. For the 92nd General Assembly, Rep. Cavenaugh serves as chairperson of the Joint Budget Committee on Claims. She also serves on the Joint Committee on Advanced Communications & Information Technology, the House Education Committee, and the House City, County & Local Affairs Committee. Rep. Cavenaugh is the Chief Financial Officer for Cavenaugh Auto Group in Walnut Ridge. She has previously served as president of the Arkansas Independent Automobile Dealers Association. She is the president of The Children's Shelter of Northeast Arkansas, a temporary home for children who have been displaced through no fault of their own. She also serves on the Lawrence Memorial Hospital Foundation Board and the Delta Symphony Orchestra Board. Rep. Cavenaugh was named Woman of the Year in 2012 by the Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce. The chamber has also selected her for the Community Service Award in 2010 and her business was selected Industry of the Year in 2006. She has previously served as president of the Chamber. Rep. Cavenaugh is the step-mother of 7 grown children. She resides in Walnut Ridge with her husband, Donald. |
