Born and raised in Thornton, Kyle Mullica is a first time state Representative who represents HD 34. He sits on the Health and Insurance Committee and the Public Health Care and Human Services Committee.
He was raised by a single mother and by the time he was eight, they were living out of our car. He knows what it's like to not know where your next meal is going to come from. These experiences put a fight in his heart to ensure that other families don't have to go through the same struggles his family did.
As a Daniels scholar, he graduated from the University of Denver in 2008 with a degree in Real Estate/Finance. He then entered the nonprofit industry to help families suffering from homelessness. While working with vulnerable populations he discovered his passion for medicine and helping people in their most difficult times. This led him to pursue his nursing degree.
Rep. Mullica served on the Northglenn City Council. During his time on the Northglenn City Council, he initiated legislation to keep family's safe and working hard to keep leaders accountable. |
