Vicki L. Lopez is a consultant and legislator serving in the Florida House of Representatives since 2022. With a career spanning public service, advocacy, and leadership, she has been actively involved in correctional reform, juvenile justice, and community development.
Born in Tampa, Florida, Lopez earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Notre Dame. She has a strong background in government, having served on the Lee County Commission (1990-1993) and holding various appointments, including Chair of the Governor's Ex-Offender Task Force (2005-2007) and Vice Chair of the Florida Department of Corrections Reentry Advisory Council (2008-2011).
A devout Catholic, Lopez enjoys cooking, fine dining, horseback riding, music, reading, traveling, and yoga. She has been recognized for her leadership, receiving the Junior Leagues of Florida Leadership Impact Award (2019) and Bennett College Women's Courage and Vision Award (2007). She remains active in organizations such as the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce, Leadership Florida, and the Junior League of Miami. |
