Clay Yarborough was elected to the Florida Senate in 2022 after serving in the Florida House of Representatives from 2016 to 2022.
His public service also includes membership on the Jacksonville City Council from 2007 to 2015, where he served as President from 2014 to 2015. Prior to that, he was a member of the Duval Soil and Water Conservation Board from 2000 to 2007.
Yarborough is a board member of the City Rescue Mission.
Professionally, he works in business development. He is married to Jordan Ellison of Merritt Island, Florida, and they have four children- Emerson, Grayson, Barrett, and Archer.
He attended the University of North Florida.
Born in Mobile, Alabama, he moved to Florida in 1985. He is a Baptist, and in his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family. |
