| A Greene County native, Trey Rhodes was born and raised in Union Point. He graduated from Greene-Taliaferro Comprehensive High School and from the University of Georgia. After college, Trey returned to Greene County and successfully started an Edward Jones Financial office in Greensboro from scratch, which he ran for 5 years. Trey is currently a financial planner with Piedmont Financial Partners. An experienced elected leader, Trey has served on the Greensboro City Council for over eight years. In his time on the City Council, Trey has garnered the experience to work with others to tackle tough challenges. Active in the community, Trey has coached the youth in our community for 16 years, is a member of the Greensboro Downtown Development Authority and has been active in numerous community organizations. Rhodes is married to Summer Moore Rhodes, who is a teacher at Union Point STEAM Academy. They are the proud parents of three children, Olivia, Haley Beth and Lane. A committed Christian, Trey and his family are active members of their local church. |
